01Is Sparkfeed a free Inoreader alternative?
Yes. Sparkfeed Free includes unlimited RSS and Atom feeds and folders, plus 5 active websites without RSS. Inoreader Free allows 150 RSS feeds, while Pro raises the limit to 2,500 and adds rules, filters, and web monitoring. Inoreader also supports newsletters, social feeds, podcasts, YouTube, and Google News alerts. Check plan limits for the source types you use.
02Can Sparkfeed replace Inoreader’s rules and filters?
Sparkfeed organizes sources with folders and saves articles to Favorites. Inoreader Pro has rules and filters for article workflows. If you depend on those automations, test your routine before switching.
03Can I follow websites that do not have RSS?
Both services offer ways to follow some websites without RSS. Sparkfeed collects article listings from supported pages, with plan limits of 5 active sources on Free and 50 on Personal+. Inoreader Pro includes web feeds and visual or text change tracking. These features do different jobs, so test the specific sites you need.
04Can I move my Inoreader subscriptions to Sparkfeed?
You can add multiple source URLs at once in Sparkfeed, up to 40 per submission. Full OPML import was not verified. Recreate folders and keep saved articles, tags, and annotations separately unless you confirm they transferred.
05Does Sparkfeed support API, MCP, and self-hosting?
Hosted API and official MCP access start with Personal+. The AGPL Community Edition can be self-hosted, with server operations and maintenance handled by you. Inoreader documents API access on Pro and Team plans; check its current documentation for any integration your workflow requires.
