Try a small collection before switching.

  1. 01

    Keep what matters.

List essential feeds, folders, and saved articles. Preserve Boards, notes, highlights, and reading history separately where possible.

  2. 02

    Recreate a small set.

Add a representative group of feed URLs to Sparkfeed. Organize them into folders. Include any websites without RSS that you depend on.

  3. 03

    Read before you move.

Check new articles, source links, and phone layouts. For a team, test member access. Keep Feedly available until the new setup meets your needs.

See how Sparkfeed fits your reading.

Try a few familiar sources. Decide whether the reader, workspace, and hosting options fit the way you work.

01Is Sparkfeed a free Feedly alternative?
Yes. Sparkfeed Free includes a personal workspace with unlimited feeds and folders, plus 5 active websites without RSS. Personal+ adds API and MCP access. Pro adds shared team workspaces.
02Can I follow websites that have no RSS feed?
Sparkfeed can collect article links from supported listing pages. Some websites block access or use structures it cannot read. Test the sites you need. This follows published articles, not every text or visual change.
03Can I bring my Feedly library with me?
You can add your existing feed URLs. Feedly’s OPML export does not include Boards or Read Later articles. Start with your feed URLs, and preserve your export and saved material separately. Do not assume that Boards, notes, or reading history will transfer.
04Can my team read the same sources?
Yes. A Pro team workspace shares sources and folders with invited members. Personal workspaces remain separate. Check member roles and available seats before moving a shared research routine.
05Can I host Sparkfeed myself?
Yes. The Community Edition is available under AGPL-3.0. You operate the server, updates, backups, and connected services. Choose hosted Sparkfeed if you want the service managed for you.
